Astralis, one of the top esports teams, made the difficult decision to part ways with their star player, Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz, in April 2021.
I was part of the core team behind creating the powerful #deardev1ce campaign, to honor his contributions and celebrate his legacy.
The campaign resonated with millions of fans, who took to social media to express their gratitude, share their favorite moments and emotions, all under the same hashtag #deardev1ce.
Deardev1ce stands as a testament still to this day on how to give a player a proper send off and was celebrated among both fans and other professional esports athletes.

It was with great pleasure that in late October 2022 we could welcome back an old friend, Dev1ce.
To celebrate the homecoming and newly envigorated hope for the 2023 season and danish Counter-Strike, we released the "Welcome Home" video as both an announcement for Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz but also as a reveal of our new game jersey.
For the first time ever and in cooperation with Hummel we designed a red jersey to celebrate not only the return of Dev1ce but also to unite the danish fans and give our thanks for their support through the years.
